Combining overlays of videos with hand-animation and dance, my partner, Mia Radhiya, and I created a short music video to Jack Garrett's "Surprise Yourself" to represent our experiences living as college students in NYC and the wonder the big cities bring as well as the possibilities and struggles that come with it.
This video travels through the feeling of exploration during our young adulthood, represented by the cityscape of NYC which we included in the hand-drawn animations as well as in the video overlays.
