The Diversify Media Project supports and donates 50% of its proceeds to the Manhattan Chinatown Community's Heart of Dinner program. The program exists to combat food insecurity and isolation within NYC’s elderly East Asian American community by delivering care packages of hot lunches and fresh produce.
WHAT WE DID TOGETHER:
With the many social movements in 2020 and 2021 (BLM/AAPI allyship) and the return of live entertainment & movie theaters, I designed a series of postcards, stickers, buttons, and tote bags that call the need to diversify our media. These were sold throughout the Manhattan Chinatown Community to spread awareness of the lack of representation in the entertainment industry.
